We're excited to welcome Callum to the 3link IT Solutions team! Callum joins us as an IT Technical Sales Apprentice at our Canterbury office, and he’s already diving headfirst into learning our systems and getting to know the team.
We sat down with Callum to learn more about him and his passion for IT:
Q: How have your first weeks at 3link been?
A: Been exciting learning new things and integrating with the team, I'm excited for the future.
Q: What excites you most about joining the 3link team?
A: The wide range of responsibilities that comes with joining a smaller company instead of a big corporate role.
Q: Coffee, tea, or something else to fuel your workday?
A: A morning coffee always sets me up for the day.
Q: What surprised you most about your first few days?
A: How friendly and chill the people in the office are.
Q: What are you hoping to learn in your new role?
A: How to handle a big amount of customer tickets and fix lots of different issues.
Q: Besides work, what are you passionate about?
A: Love watching football but also have a big desire to travel the whole world.
Q: What inspired you to pursue a career in IT?
A: I love problem solving and getting to the bottom of an issue, I'm also very social and like talking to people so its a perfect fit.
Q: What current tech trend are you most interested in?
A: Meta glasses have taken my interest recently as I feel like they have many good uses and they will only get better.
Q: What's your favourite aspect of the IT field?
A: Definitely hardware as I've always been fascinated with the physical aspect of computers and I have built and repaired many PC's.
